All American Halftime Show
Postponed Indefinitely

It is with great disappointment and utmost concern for the health and safety of the talented All American student cast, their families and our event staff that we must indefinitely postpone the New Year’s Day 2022 All American Halftime Show and student production tour.

There is an ongoing surge of Coronavirus related hospitalizations and rapidly increasing levels of COVID-19 infections (including highly transmissible variant strains) sweeping across our nation, especially in central Florida*. This creates a cause for serious alarm in regard to hosting a group event composed of nationwide attendees.

In an abundance of caution, there is no way with good conscience we can ascribe to bringing together hundreds of individuals from regions far & wide to live and work together in close quarters for the sake of a Florida travel adventure and bowl game production experience.

Thank You For Your Understanding

*Excerpt from the Orlando Sentinel newspaper – July 26, 2021:

“COVID-19 cases skyrocketed in Orange County this weekend, overwhelmed the county’s testing site, filled AdventHealth’s ICU and raised the hospital system’s inpatient totals to near January’s record.

As cases rise in Orange County, officials tout vaccinations to combat spread of the COVID-19 delta variant.

AdventHealth had 862 COVID-19 patients hospitalized on Monday across the Central Florida division, near the peak of about 900 patients the health system saw in January.”
